Bracken Cabin

The Bracken Cabin offers a peaceful retreat with a private view into the forest. Inside, you'll find a plush queen-sized mattress, a mini fridge, a BBQ, and a fire pit—ideal for a cozy campfire meal. Prefer to relax? Order takeout from one of several nearby restaurants or elevate your stay with our Romance Package.

Stay comfortable year-round with an adjustable thermostat, high-speed WiFi, and enjoy the unique experience of watching wildlife through the cabin’s window. A small feeding trough just outside may bring deer right into view while you stay warm and cozy inside.

Please note: Our cabins accommodate a maximum of 2 adults. No children, infants, or pets.

The Bracken Cabin is 107 square feet and does not have a washroom. However, a fully plumbed washroom with a shower is available just a short 3-minute walk up the lane.

Enhance Your Stay Take your experience to the next level with these optional add-ons. All add-ons are subject to availability and must be requested and confirmed in advance and are payable via e-transfer.

Romance Package – $175 Includes a gourmet grazing board with hot and cold appetizers, a dinner board, and a homemade dessert, delivered to your cabin upon arrival. (Some allergies may not be accommodated.)

Photography Package – $200 Enjoy a one-hour couples' photography session with photographer Lee Mann, including 50 professionally edited images.

Your cabin is completely private, and you'll receive a key upon arrival. Guests are welcome to explore our trails and green spaces, but we ask that you respect the privacy of others staying on the property.

Your stay is designed for privacy and independence, but our team is usually on-site if needed. Simply follow the signs to the Bracken Cabin for a smooth arrival.

We are in the town of Komoka just 5 min west of London just off the highway 402.

We are easy access by car just off the 402 highway and access on site by car. We are 5 minutes from the city of London Ontario.

No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property

No children, infants, or pets

No additional guests or parties – cabins are designed for two guests only

No indoor flames – for safety reasons, only flameless candles are allowed inside

Be mindful of nature – as a forested property, expect mud, snow, or bugs depending on the season

We are a working property – Fernwood Hills guests may see us caring for the land, tending to our chickens and gardens, performing maintenance, or hosting other guests.

Please respect other guests – While we encourage you to explore, please be mindful of the privacy and experience of others staying on the property.
